David L Hocker, MD, MRO, received his Bachelors Degree at the Indiana University Bloomington, IN in 1988 and his Doctor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine Indianapolis, IN in 1992.  Dr. Hocker served his residency in Psychiatry at the University of Louisville and Family Medicine at the University of Alabama Birmingham, AL from 1993 to 1996.  Continuing his studies, as an internship at Industrial Medicine Caraway Industrial Medicine Complex Birmingham, AL. In 1997, Dr. Hocker received training as a Medical Review Officer with American Association of Addictionology Atlanta, GA. In 2013,  Dr. Hocker received training with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners CME Outfitters in Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Hocker is certified as a Medical Review Officer from 2001 to present. In 2014, Dr. Hocker obtained his certification as a Medical Examiner with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

During his career, Dr. Hocker has acted as a director and consultant for the Industrial Medicine Unit at Northeast GA Medical Center and Director of Clinics Northeast GA Occupational Health from 1996 to 2001. In 2001, Dr. Hocker went into private practice at Primary Care Clinics of Georgia providing Occupational Health and Workers Compensation services. In 2002 to present, Dr. Hocker provides medical consulting for Riverside Military Academy.
